Chip Tricks

I was in Las Vegas a short time ago & played for about 10 hrs. I watch many of the players do chip tricks in their hands & on the table between rounds, simular to the WTP players. I have looked for books or tips on doing such tricks without any luck, does anyone know of a good book, video or website I might try?

Thanks

I've been thinking I'm going to either take down, or expand and add new videos, to my poker chip trick webpage (<a href="http://www.cates-online.com/chiptricks.cfm"; target="_blank">http://www.cates-online.com/chiptricks.cfm</a>;). It's looking pretty outdated to me, and hasn't been updated in a long time.
<br><br>
Since I'm pretty sure that almost all my traffic comes from this site (and trust me, I was very flattered to find out that my site is the most linked to site on wptfan), I thought I'd check here to see if there's any interest in an update before I do anything.

I've ordered all the CD's and watched all the corny downloads. No offense but you just cant learn them unless you have detailed instructions. I'm not saying its not possible but its the hard way. I got Brad C's Chip Tricks off EBAY and it made things easy! I've talked about it in earlier posts. Go to www.ebay.com and search for chip tricks video. Youll see a picture of Brad sitting behind a watermelon with the ace of spades sticking out. He also has a video that shows him making half court shots with ordinary playing cards! Search for juggling, magic if you want to check that one out!

Chip Tricks - shuffling

shuffling chips.

When you first start out you will want to use six chips total and then move up from there. That means you will have two stacks of 3. and when explaining you'll have two stacks next to each other i'll be refering to the left chip stack and stack 1 and the right chip stack as stack 2. (fyi i shuffle with right hand but this explanation should work for the left also)

  1. you will want to have each stack (of 3 in this case) touching at one end.
  2. your thumb goes on the left side of stack 1 (in the center of the left side)
  3. your index finger goes into the center of the two stacks (in the grove created by where the chips are touching)
  4. your middle and ring fingers go on the right side of stack 2 (but not the center of the right side) your middle and ring fingers shouldn't be touching and the gap created should be the center of the right side.
  5. your pinky can and can not be used, it just depends on what feels more natural. if it is used then it goes in the center or a bit right of the center of the back of stack two.
  6. you want to apply pressure from your thumb and middle and ring fingers toward the center. Not too much though the chips go everywhere.
  7. your index finger then pulls up slightly (while there is pressure applied). this will then start to separtate the chips in which you then push the chips together by closing your fingers together.

(*note* it is easier to shuffle the chips when the bottom chip of stack 1 goes up and inbetween the bottom chip of stack 2 and the second to bottom chip of stack two. that also means the top chip of stack one goes on top the top chip in stack two. )

(**note** if shuffling and odd number of chips, have the more quantity of chips in stack 2. that also means the top chip of stack 1 doesn't go on top of the top chip in stack 2 but instead the the center. (you can shuffle an odd number chips with the more being in stack 1 but when learning it is easier if it is the extra chips are in stack 2 not 1.

And that is how you shuffle chips.

P.S. If anyone knows anymore chips tecniques please tell us how. I do also know how to roll a chip across my fingers but i figure most people even if they can't do it know how to do it or could figure it out but if anyone wants to explain just make a post and i'll try to explain it.

All right, I'm a lefty, and this is how I do it. I watched the WPT Tournament, but I have never ever played real poker, so I have to use really cheap, small, plastic chips. But I can still do it efficiently. Here we go:

1. Split two stacks of 5 equal chips beside each other, with the left and right sides of the opposite chip stacks touching each other.

2. Now, Put you thumb and pinky on the back on the left stack, or the exposed left side of that stack. Your fingers should be 1 or so inches apart. And with your ring finger you should hold the left stack near the part where they are touching...Okie dokie, start off by doing this.

3. The other stack is more simple TO ME. All you do is put your remaining fingers, your middle and index on the top area of the other chip stack. Yet again--1 inch apart from one another, exactly the same distance as the thumb and pinky on the other stack. Now try this out, grabbing the stack basically as close to the bottom of the stack as possible, don't even try to shuffle until you have this formation down PAT.

4. Ok, now you simply push up, mainly it feels with the middle and index fingers. But you should also push up with the pinky and thumb, but it doesn't feel like you need to push up as much with them. It should be a swift move so the chips will be up in the air basically at an angle on each other...From there, you must gradually remove your fingers, your index and middle preferably so the chips fall down on each other in a shuffle-type maneuver. Then simply push the chips together with whatever fingers you feel most comfortable with.

*WHEW* Now this is pretty important as well IMO. Practice is crucial of course, and you will not do this perfectly on the first try. So I'd suggest practicing on your bed, carpet, or some NON-HARD surface. It's much easier that way, then move on to hard-wood once you have basically mastered it.

Ok, that was a little too complex and not detailed enough in the same moment. Sorry, but I tried!

The one anonymous above was ALSO me, I just didn't find enough time to sign up, or maybe it was laziness. Anyway, this is my strategy for the chip twirl. As of right now I'm not that great at the chip twirl, the one Gus was doing in the 9th episode, but I have the idea and in 2 weeks practice I should be solid at it. Ok here we go.

1. Place three chips between your thumb on the right side (im a left notice), and your index and middle finger on the left side, with the index on top.

2. You then take your pinky and remove the middle chip, which should have say, a millimeter of space seperating it from the two other chips. So when you bring it down with your pinky, it should pivot somewhat and roll off your thumb, and it will be held very simply with your thumb and pinky.

3. Then you just use your ring finger to twirl it a little more than 180 degrees, since the other two chips seem to get a little crooked with me...Then you just place it back into the first 2 chips with your pinky.

Seems easy, but is quite complex. I had to tape the episode of Gus doing it, and it's still very hard examine.

Chip Tricks - twirl

I would first like to say that i very happy to see people adding to the chip trick section and that it has the most viewings. But Gman60000 that chip twirl that you explained is not the one Gus fully does. But it is a twirl that will work. Oh and by the way the Chip twirl that the link has (at the top) is also not the way Gus does it. If you notice in the two WPT events he was on tv for he has two different styles for the chip twirl (not sure if its just he does it different ways sometimes, or if each hand does it differently) But if you watch him carefully one will notice that sometimes he doesn't use his pinky at all, in fact the single chip is held by the index and ring finger and spun with the middle. The other one is where the single chip is held by the index and pinky finger and spun with both his middle and ring fingers. (The one in the link is wrong because where the single chip is held is by the middle and pinky finger and spun with the ring - this method i think is done by Scotty Nguyen.)

I had tried for some time to use the method for the chip twirl posted above, but eventually came to the conclusion you do not need to use your pinky at all. The key is to start as described above, but bring your ring finger as close as possible to your thumb as you then use the ring finger to pull out just the middle chip. (That's the tricky part.) Once the middle chip is out and clear of the first two chips, use the middle finger to spin it. (The two outside chips are being held in place by just the thumb and index finger at this point.)

After a little practice I can do both hands and even do it with quarters. Much easier than the pinky method mentioned above.

Chip Tricks - twirl - Check ESPN out

I found that the easiest way to master the twirl is to practice the first part of the trick which is the separation of the middle chip from the top and bottom chips. If you can consistently keep the top and bottom parallel to eachother after separation, then the rest of the trick is a cakewalk.Mastering this part of the trick will allow the middle chip or twirler to side back in with the least amount of friction. What finger you twirl with is up to you. Chack out the episodes on ESPN of the WSOP, if it is the one where you see Dutch boyd playing, pop in a tape and hit record, because ESPN does a whole bit on chip tricks, and Boyd's are electrifying.

Chip Tricks - twirl - Check ESPN out
Authored by: Anonymous on Thursday, September 11 2003 @ 04:25 PM EDT
That is true - basically there are 3 parts to this trick listed from (what I believe to be) hardest to easiest - 1. Spin (while keeping it on your finger) 2. Keeping the 2 chips spread apart enough 3. Slide (Up and Down)

The trick to dropping them down, is, before you place the chips in your hand (between your thumb and index) pull the middle chip down approx. 1/4 of an inch. That should make it easier for you to pull the chip down. Make sure you get the chips far enough away from each other - that way it will be easier to spin (try to hold the outside chips farther up your fingers after you drop it (if that makes any sense))Rest the middle chip on your ring and index fingers - you can use the pinky to guide the chip, in case it is going to fall off. Next use your middle finger to spin the chip clockwise (when looking at the chips from above) spin it into your palm. After you spin it around, push the middle chip up and the outside chips down. Just practice it for a while, you will get it soon, also, dont think about the trick too much, that makes it harder.

I suggest reaching as far as you can with the side of your ring-finger. Meaning that you're snagging the bottom of the middle chip as far to bottom as you can...When you then separate them, the single chip will be a good position to twirl and put back. Sometimes I put it back on top or underneath the two. As long as you do it smooth and consistent it doesn't matter.

I don' t have video. but if you are having problems with getting the middle chip out, here is an easier way. Hold all three chips between your thumb and index finger, so that the middle chip is alligned with the crease created by the first knuckle of your index finger. Hold your hand so that your index finger is facing away from you. Just reduce the pressure holding the chips and due to the placement in that crease the middle chip should fall out. Catch the chip with your ring finger and separate the middle from the sides by rolling the middle chip away from the other two. Then use your middle finger to flip it, and it should slide easily in between the outside chips.

Yeah Maury. I think that is the dominant way for a RIGHT-hander to do it. I suppose my method is basically impossible for a right-hander to do. As I shuffle differently with my left than my right when I try and switch it up for fun. But in my case the pinky is basically a need. I can't really get close to pulling out the middle chip when using my ring finger.

The best video is the episode where Dutch Boyd is showing off his chip tricks. If you are really serious, you should tape that, and you will get the hang of it. He does it in slow motion for goodness sakes! Just get the hang of holding on the the chips then separate them takign however long since you are still learning, then learn how to drop, spin, and put the chip back in. Then learn how to do the rest.

GMann,
Perhaps you could get a video of this?

I've tried using your technique as I am also a "lefty" when it comes to shuffling chips, but I'm only mildly successfull. I've been practicing, but my shuffle never really gets better. Surely there's something to this I'm not getting quite right and following text only is a bit cumbersome.

Thanks.

This is Gman I'm just a little too lazy to log in right now. Hmm, perhaps the way I do it is incorrect. But really I do it pretty consistently, I really just played around with it and I did it. I taped Gus Hansen doing the trick but I never really got a good view of him doing the twirl. So I just screwed around and it actually looks quite good now. Well, I don't have a webcam or whatever you would need to put a video up of it. So I'm sorry. I suppose the way I do it, is basically wrong. My advice is just do it the way it's easiest for you. I have just given you some suggestions as to HOW to do it. Try them all out and see which one works best for me.
I'm basically not going to be able to do the other methods because I'm so used to the way I do it, so I really can't say which way is better. I'm sorry.

Yet again GMAN here.

Oh, here's the big thing that I seem to do differently just looking on the other posts for a second. I roll the chip with my pinky clockwise, so it's on the thumb. All the others I have seen tell you to go counter-clockwise, so it's on your index and whatever other finger. So really the way I have explained is dramatically different now that I look at it. Perhaps I should not give any more advice on this subject.

I can shuffle 6 per stack without thinking about it, but need to work on taller stacks. I can hit 8 per stack about 1/2 the time. My question is "When is enough enough?" My own goal is to nail one trick at a time, and then move on to the next. How high are the stacks you guys are working with?

Likewise, what criteria to you use to signify that your knuckle-roll is sufficiently impressing. Time? Such as no more than 4 seconds from thumb to thumb? Kind of goofy questions, I realize, but it is good to have some kind of goal to shoot at. Thanks!

Well now I can basically do it three ways. The pinky clockwise method (still fastest for me), the pinky counter-clockwise method (fairly slow), and the counter-clockwise ring finger method(probably the slowest but better than nothing). The trick has become very simple. Now to tackle the trick where you take 1 chip and take it from knuckle to knuckle across the top of your hand. The one shown by Dutch Boyd, can't wait.

Chip Tricks - Knuckle Roll
Authored by: RoyalFlush on Sunday, August 03 2003 @ 05:40 AM EDT
Okay, Here's how it's done. [1] grab a chip inbetween your index finger and thumb. [2] You slide the chip up with your thumb (the side of the chip by your index is against the side of the index finger. *Note it is also behind your second Knuckle (when counting from finger tip to back of hand). [3] When the chip is pushed up the index finger to where only the chip is held by its edge with the thumbs pad and the side of your index finger. You then due two things at once. 1st) your middle finger raises up above all fingers or (all fingers except index are raised above index finger. 2nd part is to push the chip up a bit more and over so it drops and the top part of the indec finger. [4] Once the chip is lying on top of you index finger (**remember after second knuckle but before third) You then lower you middle finger and press down on the side of the chip that in neareast to the bottom (palm down) part of the finger. This is what you press with. (***Note only lower the middle finger not any other) [5] you then continue to push down of chip with middle finger until chip stands up [6] Here is the two parter thing again. 1st) you make sure ring finger is above middle finger. 2nd) then you continue pushing down on the chip till it fips over on top of middle finger. (you may have to lower middle finger lower than index (this also helps to keep chip stable )). [7] again lower ring finger this time till chip stands up then filps over (have pinky finger above ring finger. [8]once flat on the ring finger you lower your pinky finger to make chip stand up (****Note you do not let chip flip on top of pinky. [9] once chip is standing up between ring and pinky fingers you raise your ring finger above the pinky finger (it will help chip because flat (some of chip will lie on top of pinky). [10] You then bring your thumb from underneath fingers and put your thumb pad on the underside of chip and pull a bit toward the index finger and while chip is sliding the top part of chip will slide againt all fingers while the bottom is held from from falling by the thumb (which is what is sliding the chip.) [11] start to push chip back up against the side of the index finger.

*Note* It will take some patience with this move. The chip won't flip right at first, with will fall off fingers all the time, and your hands might get tight and cramp up.

But it is all worth it. because once you can do it. you never really can't and you can start to skip fingers, do it in reverse (instead of catching chip with thumb in step 10 you flip chip back on ring and have middle make it stand up and so on. If you also get really good you can do two chips at once and have one going across your fingers while the second is being pulled to the beginning and then while chip reaches the pinky and ring gap the other chip from below start to goes across the hand.

Chip Tricks - Chip Roll
Authored by: RoyalFlush on Sunday, August 03 2003 @ 05:54 AM EDT
The chip roll (chips roll across table from hand to hand.) You first start out with like five chips. [1] have these inbetween your thumb index. (the chip held by the index should be inbetween the side of the index and the bottom of index(palm part) (basically if you finger was square it would be on the corner. [2] next have your hand on table or a few inches above. (have only side of hand on table (pinky side) that way your thumb and index or above all other fingers. [3] If you hand is on the table (pinky side) this will make a bit more sense. you don't want your palm to be perpendicular to the table but instead you want the angle created by the back of your hand and the table to be about 60 degrees. [4] you then want your pinky and index finger jogged out from the middle and ring (jogged so there bent a bit more in toward the palm or your chest side.) [5] Not what you do is spread open your index and thumb (note though only move your thumb open and do slowly so each chip comes of seperatly from top chip (chip closet to finger nail (or when stack picked it would have been the bottom chip of stack.) [6] Now if your fingers (index and pinky are about alinged the chip will hit your pinky (*note* which is what you want) because that is what makes the chip roll and that why you hand is at 60 degress. If chip just hits table first it will bounce and fall.)

yea my name is steve... after a while of practicing the chip roll ive found some really cool things u can do... for instance... hold 4 chips in ur hand like u were gonna do a regular chip roll... let one go as usual... and then instead of lettin one more.. let 2 go at the same time... what should happen is they start off right next to each other... but then they will slowly drift apart.. and then let go ur last one... its really cool lookin... if ya get that down... try holdin 5.. do the same thing.. except instead of lettin 2 go let 3 go at the same time... u will see it will again start off all next to each other... but at the end look like a spaced out fork... it looks amazing

Chip Tricks - single chip bounce
Authored by: RoyalFlush on Sunday, August 03 2003 @ 06:06 AM EDT
Single chip bounce on to stack this is also done by Dutch Boyd. Now this is somewhat tricky and really no amount of advice can be given on this to help out, it is more of a try and feel thing but here are some few tips [1] DO NOT throw chip at table, it will by far more times than not, not actually really bounce at all. [2] You just drop the chip and the bounce will happen (height depends on how high you drop chip (you can drop chip about a foot high and still have it bounce like 9 inches up). [3] you want to make when you drop it is does hit the side of the chip and not the face (note it can't hit side with any type of angle to chip (thats way it more feel thing) [4] Now as for getting it to bounce back toward stack is again a feel thing, i know i said that you don't angle the chip the in step three, but you actually need to angle just so slightly. the angle is the bottom of chip is angle out away from stack and top of chip is angled toward stack (***NOTE*** agnle is only so slightly. the reason in three i say no angle to get you to practive dropping it straight (which is key) and it is actually possible to still get chip on stack when it is bounce straight down. Note i also have a few more chip tricks to share with you all but, i will wait a bit and let you practice on these that i added and to allow others to maybe a few of there own.

A bit of an interesting story for you all...

I'm very new to poker, truth be told. I like to play with my friends whenever we get the chance, but I've never really competed seriously. I've started watching a lot of WPT and WSOP recently, though. My buddies and I are planning a trip to Vegas next summer, and hopefully by then I'll know enough to not make a fool of myself. Anyway, I was watching the WSOP on ESPN a day or two ago, and I saw the bit by Dutch Boyd about chip tricks. I thought it was just about the slickest thing I'd ever seen. So, I signed on and checked google to look for explanations, and lo and behold, I come across this site. I'm pretty well hooked now, and I hope I can keep on getting tips and assistance.

By the way, I've been working on the chip shuffle. It's coming rather slowly, but at least I'm making progress. For anybody else out there in my position: if I can do it, anyone can do it.

Corey-You said that you have the .mpeg of the Gus Hansen chip twirl, please post it.

Also, its evident that "Royal Flush" knows all a lot of the tricks. Where did you learn it and what else is there?

Finally, is there anything cooler that tricks with Poker chips? The only thing that comes close are tricks with Zippo lighters.

Well (anonymous name) I learned a lot of the tricks by my self, but just as a break down for you guys i'll tell you where i learned the tricks.

KNUCKLE ROLL -- I learned from doing coin magic,

CHIP SHUFFLE -- i learned by my self with a friend, (we both saw it on tv and just worked it out together),

CHIP TWIRL-- i learned from the link on the first reply(then the other methods which i sorta posted i learned from watching the tv and rewinding until i knew exactly what each finger was doing.

CHIP ROLL -- I learned by my self

CHIP BOUNCE-- i also learned by my self

And as for what else is out there (here are the ones i know how to do, BACK SPIN (either on a chip stack or table), a TURNOVER CHIP thing (ducth did it - its not the greatest and doesn't take practice) , then a trick i made up my self, and then the shuffling type thing johnny chan did in "Rounders" As for tricks that i don't know, there is taking four chips and with one hand spreading them into the gaps of the fingers, (the magician guy on one of eposides of the WPT did it), and then i am sure there are still others to be invented.

P.S. i will post the other four that i know soon

If anyone could tell me how to do this, or where i could get a video of it, i'd appreciate it.

Does anyone know how to that thing that Dutch Boyd did in Episode 4. He flipped a chip from the front to the back it looks really cool.

p.s. I've been working on the chip twirll. The only part I'm having trouble with is getting the center chip to stay on my fingers without falling while I spin it. Should I just keep practicing or is there a trick to it?

Yeah, I saw that too...a very easy trick no less. I am going to put pictures of that one on my website too (see above), maybe tonight. The secret is to raise the front one above the rear two, and Boyd did this by rotating it up a little bit. Once it is higher, just press on it and flip it over.

I can get it to stay on my finger. I accually use my pinky finger to twirl the chip. My ring finger is a "guide" so the chip doesn't fall. I kinda have a problem getting the middle chip out of the stack. Is there a trick or any words of advise?

Thanks,

I have noticed that when you pull the single chip out, if it isn't centered between your index and ring finger it will fall out when you twirl it cause it's off axis.

Sometimes I need to start the trick, then (put them back together) and readjust to get my ring finger in better position, then finish the trick.

I know I am late on this, but I just found this site. To shuffle on a hard surface, you need to use your index finger, but if you are on a poker table, all you have to do is put slight pressure down and in with your thumb and middle finger. The rest of you're fingers can be used as guides. This is much easier than the "index finger lift method". Start with no more than three chips per stack. You can work your way up pretty quickly.

i can do the twirl three different ways the ways that have already described with using the pinky and not using the pinky. I have a new way of doing it that looks a lot cooler i drop the middle chip down to the pinky then i hold it with the pinky and the thumb and twirl wit eithe the ring finger or the middl efinger it looks better because no one really ever trys it different than the pros they see on tv i liv eand vegas and i see all different stuff at the tables some of it looks insane and u kno the guy has been playin the game for a while and when u do chip trcks that peoplecant figure out u scare them cause they beleive that u have a lot more experience at that table than they do

Does anyone know how to do the three stack shuffle? Thus far, I've only read about it and never saw it done....

For anyone who knows how to do this, a step by step "how to" isn't really necessary, but maybe how the chips should be stacked (ie: next to each other; mickey mouse (think head and two ears); or upside down micke mouse). And maybe where you should position each finger.

The rest would probably be just practice of trial and splashing.

Dutch Boyd should start learning to play Texas Holdem instead of trying to impress everyone with his chip tricks. He is terrible, he had one run and that was it, you have never ever heard from him again except for his part in that 'STUPID CREW". Enough of these gangs in POKER who cares..Getting back to chip tricks I do the usual and created a few of my own, nothing really great but just enough to let other players know I can handle them.

Here is a great tell which I am sure most of the expereinced guys out there know but for you new guys here is something to think about:

Your playing in a tournament or ring game and this guy is trying to do chip tricks. He is having a hard time doing anything but wants to impress. Comes to him to bet and he picks up his chips in his right hand(say he is right handed) and holds them counting how many he has, well brother just take this guy out to lunch. Chip tricks are good but not everyone does them, what everyone does do is throw chips into the pot and if you are not experienced in that brother you got yourelf a real sucker there..
Good luck..

For the chip shuffle I noticed that people don't let GRAVITY take its course. If you are doing it and the chips don't make a 'shuffle riff' sound then you are trying too hard to manipulate them. All you need to do it start w/ your index finger, and use the rest of your finger as a guide applying very slight inward pressure. Gravity will in essence take over and the respective piles no mater how small or big will FALL on each other. I think people try to hard to shuffle them like they were cards. Less is more.

The Twirl is easy, but very hard at first. It took me only a day to learn, but wow...I must have spent 6-8 hours that first day with chips in my hand.

I found that if you have the three in your hand you want to actually LIFT up the outer two with your thumb.

it reminds me of a hinge, if you use the thumb to move the outer two up, and your index and ring finger to keep the middle chip idle, lift and seperate.

Now that you have them seperate, twirl with the middle finger 180 degrees. and then slip it back up....

CHip SHUFFLE is really easy

Get two equal stacks...five is good. thumb and middle finger on the outside of the two stacks while you put your index between the stacks.
THis is the hard part.
Lift up with the index while pushing in and down with the thumb and middle finger.....
PRACTICE is all that will make this trick work...

Basically, you need to get your fingers to memorize the motions of the chips.

If you're serious about chip tricks this video is supposedly top of the line. There's apparently an article coming out about it in "Bluff" magazine soon as well.

Are you all COMPLETELY off your rockers? How about you step off your all mighty high horses and actually look into what you jump to criticize. You might find that you're badly mistaken about being such asses. It takes a pretty low man to talk *#@* about something he knows nothing about. Even IF this guy UCMAGIC has used this site to drop some interest in what he's doing, more power to the man for understanding marketing. It's actually VERY smart . NO ONE has any room to say ANYTHING without seeing the damn thing. You VIPER are a sad piece of work. Apparently it makes a guy like you feel good to trash talk others. I guess when you don't have much of a life outside of this forum that's all there is to do...huh? Grow up. Oh wait...I don't know anything about you...it wouldn't be fair for me to trash talk you like that right? Or would it?

I agree with some of the others here.
mtdewvirus and chiptrix.com are the best for beginners.

I liked the old mtdewvirus page better than the one it moved to tho.

www.chiptrix.com is much cleaner (i.e. easier to navigate). But it doesnt have as many tricks, just the really popular ones.

Saw a trick the other day during the poker tour. Can't even remember who did it, but it was amazing.

Started with one hand palm up on the table, and the other hand about a foot above, then he somehow flicked the chip up into the hand above!

Dunno how it was done because you couldnt even see any movement from the hand that flicked the chip up. Any ideas anyone?

Well I have read all the posts and come to one conclusion....... All of you are still looking for a site with video clips of the tricks that you mentioned. So here is the site that I have found, I was able to download clips of the shuffle (even a 3stack shuffle!), Front to Back, Nuckle Roll, The Twirl and the Anti-Gravity. I hope this helps a lot of you with what you were looking for. If not, I will save the few clips that I found and send it to any of you who email me and request it. Good luck gaming, and wow them with your chip trick skills!

The site is. . . . . http://www.21ace.com/phpBB2/forum/list-of-tricks-303.htm

Think what you want, but it's definitely not spam. I've posted many times in this thread and people have liked the information. Last I checked the thread was still about poker chip tricks.

Detailed instructions on how to perform the CHIP SPIN. I think this is a easier way to do it than Antonio's way (I am big fan of Antonio).

FYI, Antonio's new book (WPT: In the Money) on Texas Hold 'em cash games comes with a bonus DVD on chip tricks. In the interests of full disclosure, I co-wrote the book.

ya ... None.

Why would you want your opponents to know you spend an assload of time at the tables? You would be better off wearing a hawiian shirt and stressing that you are from out of town on vacation.
